眼科領域におけるデータ交換規約試案

Proposal for unified formula of medical information exchange in ophthalmology

（B5-1-18）　電子的な医療情報交換規約として，先日Medical Markup Language （以下，MML）および，Medical Record Image Text-Information eXchange（以下，MERIT−9と略す）が策定された。これらは汎用性を持たせる目的と策定されたばかりの規格であるため，各専門分野における細かいデータの表現方法については触れられていない。今回筆者らは，MMLに準拠した形で，細かいフォーマットの記述方式について試案を作成し，Extension for SPecial feild（ESP）と名付けた。また，これをさらに拡張する形で，眼科領域における医療情報交換規約を一部試作してみた。このような，より細かいデータの表現方法を策定することで他の医療施設のデータを電子化カルテに取り込んだり，複数施設間での電子化カルテの共有化が実現するものと考え，眼科分野向けの標準フォーマットの策定を呼びかけるものである。

An interface was recently created for the exchange of medical information among different institutions. It consists of two parts. One is Medical Markup Language (MML) and the other is Medical Record Image Text-Information eXchange (MERIT-9). The major merit of electronic medical chart system lies in smooth and rapid exchanges of medical information. There is still no structure for details in specific areas including ophthalmology. We initially created an interface for details of specific areas which we named ESP format. The then created another interface for exchange of ophthalmic reports which we named ESP-Opho.
