今回はだいたい次の4つを主題として選んだ。1．アデノウイルス，Ⅱ．ヘルペスウイルス，Ⅲ，トラコーマ病原体，Ⅳ．感染症に対する眼科薬剤，の研究である。
その他として，sarcoidosisの1題とマイコプラズマ1題，トキソプラズマ1題の計3題である。
The fourth symposium on infectious eye dis-eases convened on Nov. 11, 1967, as a collateral event of the Annual Congress of Clinical Oph-thalmology in Tokyo. Papers were presentedconcerning four central topics as follows.
I. The adenovirus (Chairman : Associate Prof. Uchida )
1. Study of adenovirus infection with fluore-scent antibody technique, by S. Inoue, Toku-shima Univ.
2. The effect of IUDR and ABOB upon the synthesis of adenovirus antigen, by Y. Ikeda et al. (Tohoku Univ.)
II. The herpes virus (Chairman : Associate Prof. Kitano)
