今回の主題は，涙の分泌機構，涙腺の機能，および分泌と導涙との関係，ならびに涙嚢鼻腔吻合術に関する討議であつた。
The 3 rd symposium on the lacrimal system was held on Nov. 12, 1966, concurrently with the Annual Congress of Clinical Ophthalmology in Tokyo. Papers were read on following sub-jects.
1) Evaluation of two different colorimetric methods, one with a capillary tube and the other with a filter paper for testing the tear fluid volume in the conjunctival sac of normal eye, by Y. Okuzawa et al., Kyoto Prefectural Univ. of Med.
2) The surface pressure of the tear fluid, by T. Mizukawa et al., Osaka Univ.
3) The tear fluid secretion in various disor-ders of the lacrimal drainage system, by Y. Kuribayashi, Shinshu Univ.
