The 2nd symposium on the lacrimal system was held on Nov. 13, 1965, concurrently with the Annual Congress of Clinical Oph-thalmology in Sendai. Papers were read on following subjects.

1) A new colorimetric method for testing the tear fluid secretion, by T.Mizukawa et al.. Osaka Univ.

2) The tear fluid volume in the conjunctival sac of normal eye, by I. Wakano, Kyoto Pre-fectural Univ. of Med.

3) The tear drainage function and epiphora, by M. Yamaguchi, Tokyo.

4) A few trials in dacryocystorhinostomy, by T. Yamamoto, Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital.
