近視における調節作用の分析—第3報青少年における近視の実態の研究

Ⅰ．緒言

　近視の分布において弱度の近視の占める割合が大きいことは，佐藤，安井，大山はじめ多くの人により明らかにされている。とりわけ青少年近視はこの関係が著明である。萩野は青少年近視の発現機序は調節作用が主体をなすものであると述べている。著者も調節作用の面から近視の初期像は特有な性状を示すことを認め，これが近視発現機序に重要な関係をもつことを知つた。今回は愛知県下の小，中，高校生徒の眼屈折状態を検診する機会を得たので近視の分布の実態よりこの関係を追求するために本研究を試みた。

2031 students of elementary, junior and se-nior high schools were examined for their state of refraction. An investigation pattern of mild grade of myopia and emmetropia showing early signs of myopia was atte-mpted in order to elucidate the developmental mechanisms of myopia. Following results were obtained:

1) Occurrence of myopia:

elementary School…………………29.1%

junior high school………………41.2%

senior high school………………64.0%

2) Not a few emmetropic subjects showed tendency to myopia and were interpreted as liable to turn into myopia.
