Outcome of surgery for strabismus in Graves' orbitopathy

要約　目的：バセドウ病眼症斜視の手術成績の検討。対象と方法：過去3年間に，神戸海星病院で調節糸法による斜視手術を行ったバセドウ病眼症患者を対象として後ろ向きに検討した。治療成績は，遠見眼位と両眼単一視野機能採点法（BSVスコア）で評価した。結果：術後評価を行った40例を解析した。上・下直筋単回手術群27例，内直筋単回手術群5例，複数回手術群8例であり，術半年後の遠見眼位は中央値0～9Δ，BSVスコアは40～71％と改善していた。結論：調節糸法による斜視手術はバセドウ病眼症の眼位異常，複視の改善に有効な方法であった。

Abstract.　Purpose：To evaluate the outcome of surgery for strabismus using adjustable suture in Graves' orbitopathy. Cases and Method：Records were reviewed retrospectively for all patients who had strabismus surgery in the past 3 years. Outcome was assessed by angles of deviation and by binocular single vision（BSV）scores. Results：Data were obtained from 40 patients. Vertical single surgeries were performed on 27 cases,horizontal single surgery on 5 cases,and combined surgery on 8 patients. Angles of deviation and BSV scores were improved post-operatively,and the median values of angles of deviation were 0 to 9 prism and those of BSV scores were 40 to 71％ 6 month after surgery. Conclusion：Strabismus surgeries using adjustable sutures can recover successfully ocular malalignment and diplopia in Graves' orbitopathy.
