  • Abstract

A one-year-old female infant presented with abnormal eye position. She had comitant esotropia fixating with the right eye. Otherwise, she was free of abnormal eye movements. Treatment for amblyopia was futile. Four months later, optic nerve disorder was suspected because of pale optic disc and abnormal visual evoked potential(VEP). Further examinations led to the detection of craniopharyngioma. After surgery, she is doing well until the age of 2 years 6months. This case illustrates that brain tumor in an infant may manifest as strabismus.
