小児の椎間板石灰化症は，1924年Baronによって初めて報告されて以来，欧米での報告例は比較的多く，現在までに100例を越す報告がある．本邦における報告は，1932年水町が最初であるが，いまだ数少ない．今回，われわれは頸椎におけるその1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．
