抄録：腰仙椎移行部に病巣を有する脊椎炎等に対する固定術の際，専用のiliac screwを用いたGalveston法にてinstrumentationを施行した9例を報告した．
患者の平均年齢は57歳（19～76歳）で，術後平均観察期間は2年4カ月であった．固定脊椎高位はL4～SからL2～Sで，固定椎間数は2～4椎間（平均3.1椎間）であった．
