　われわれは先天性股関節脱臼に対し，Riemenbügel法(以下，Rb法)整復不能例や，初診時生後7カ月以上の場合，overhead traction法(以下，OHT法)による整復を行っている．対象は，2005年4月から2011年7月までに，国立三重病院でOHT法が開始された11例11関節(男児1例，女児10例)である．開始時年齢は6カ月から1歳7カ月で，平均9カ月であった．全例に整復が得られ，短期ではあるが，OHT法の治療成績，治療法について報告する．

　We use overhead traction (OHT) to treat the dislocations in severe developmental dysplasia of the hip, children over seven months of age, and children whose hip dislocations are not reduced by the Pavlik harness.　Our method was used to treat children between April 2005 and July 2011.　Eleven patients (one boy and ten girls) were treated at National Mie Hospital.　OHT was started when the patients were between six and 19 months of age, and all dislocations were reduced by OHT.
