　症例は69歳の女性で，主訴は右股関節痛である．2002年に他院で両側臼蓋形成不全で臼蓋形成術を施行された．徐々に右股関節痛が増悪し，2008年に当科を受診した．X線像上末期の変形性股関節症を認めた．金属アレルギーの既往があり，今まで人工股関節置換術(THA)は避けられていたが，パッチテスト，リンパ球刺激試験を施行し，アレルギー反応を示さなかったインプラントを用いてTHAを施行したところ，アレルギー反応は出現せず，術後1年3カ月の現在，X線画像上も明らかな弛みを認めていない．

　The patient was a 69-year-old woman who complained of the right coxalgia.　In 2002 she was operated on acetabuloplasty for bilateral acetabular dysplasia in another hospital.　In 2008 the right coxalgia gradually was exacerbation.　When she consulted our institution, terminal osteoarthritis of the hip was defected in X-ray film.　Because she had history of metal allergy, the total hip arthroplasty (THA) was avoided.　We performed a patch test, a lymphocyte stimulation test, and we operated on THA using the implant which did not show allergic reaction.　At 15 months she did not show allergic reaction, and loosening in X-ray film.
