　人工膝単顆置換術(UKA)術後，数カ月以内に脛骨高原骨折に至った2症例を手術手技を踏まえ報告する．2症例ともに外傷歴，感染徴候は認めず，術後早期に観血的整復固定術を施行した．早期に骨折に至った要因として脛骨前方皮質へのコンポーネントの設置が正確性に欠けたこと，脛骨側でのセメント不足，コンポーネントの叩きすぎ，脛骨顆間隆起内側縁での縦切りが深くなったことが要因と考えた．

　We report two cases of tibial medial plateau fracture after unicompartmental knee arthroplasty.　There was no history of trauma or signs of infection in either patient.　There are several possible causes for the fracture, posterior placement of the tibial component, insufficient cementing for the tibial component fixation, excessive hummering of the component, and excessive vertical cutting during the tibial osteotomy.　All these four elements might have affected the fracture in these two cases.
