手指末節骨に発生した類上皮囊胞の2例

Intraosseous Epidermoid Cyst in the Distal Phalanx of a Finger. Report of Two Cases

　手指末節骨に発生する類上皮囊胞は稀であるが，2例を経験した．症例1は73歳の男性で，職業は元炭鉱員であった．環指末節部に腫脹，疼痛が出現し，近医を受診した．X線像で末節骨に境界明瞭な骨透瞭像を認め，当科に紹介された．手術は，腫瘍を被膜ごと一塊に摘出した．症例2は44歳の男性で，職業は運送業であった．中指末節部に腫脹，疼痛が出現し，近医を受診した．X線像で末節骨に境界不明瞭な骨透瞭像を認め，当科に紹介された．手術は，骨内の肉芽組織をそう爬した．本疾患の成因は外傷によるものと考えられており，診断には外傷歴の聴取が大切である．

　Intraosseous epidermoid cysts in the distal phalanx of a finger are rare.　We report two cases of intraosseous epidermoid cyst in the distal phalanx of a finger.　One case was in a 73-year-old man, and the other was in a 44-year-old man.　They were both successfully treated surgically, and the patients had good functional results and radiological evidence of healing.　Intraosseous epidermoid cysts are classified as being of traumatic or iatrogenic origin.　Inquiring about a history of trauma is important in making the diagnosis.
