ラテックス-フルーツ症候群を伴う特発性側弯症の手術例について

A Surgical Case of Idiopathic Scoliosis Associated with Latex-fruit Syndrome

　ラテックスアレルギー患者の一部に栗やバナナ，アボカドなどの植物性食品を摂取した際にアナフィラキシーを訴えることがあり，この現象はラテックス-フルーツ症候群と呼ばれている．今回，麻酔導入直前にラテックスーフルーツ症候群を指摘され，手術を延期し，可能な限りラテックスを含む製品を排除した状態で安全に手術を施行した特発性側弯症の1例を経験したので報告する．

　It is well known that patients with latex allergy have cross-reactions to various fruits, a condition called the latex-fruit syndrome. We report a case of idiopathic scoliosis associated with latex-fruit syndrome in which surgery was performed without anaphylaxis under the latex-free medications.
