抄録：脊髄腫瘍において神経鞘腫は頻度が高い．しかし椎体内発生報告例は少なく発生頻度は稀とされる．われわれは第5腰椎内に発生した巨大な神経鞘腫に対し手術を施行し，腫瘍摘出およびinstrumentationを用いない椎体再建を行い良好な結果を得た．
Schwannoma is a common in spinal tumor, but intraosseous schwannoma is rare.
We surgically treated a patient with an intraosseous schwannoma of the fifth lumbar vertebra by resecting the tumor and reconstructing the vertebra without using instrumentation.
