腰痛の保存的治療；最新の話題―AKA（博田法）とMcKenzie法をめぐって

Recent Information on Conservative Treatment of Low Back Pain : AKA (Hakata Method) and McKenzie Method

　抄録：腰痛の保存的治療の有効性はEBMで検証すべきである．現在，欧米では徒手医学やMcKenzie法の臨床試験がさかんに行われている．わが国では博田の創始したAKAが保存的治療に有効であることがわかってきた．AKAの手技，科学性，McKenzie法や徒手医学とのEBM上の比較などを検討した．その結果，AKAはほかの保存的治療と比較して格段に有効性のあることがわかった．

　The validity of conservative treatment for low back pain should be assessed by EBM. Many clinical studies of manual medicine and the McKenzie method have been conducted in Europe and the United States. AKA originated in Japan and was devised by Hakata. It has been applied to the treatment of low back pain. The technique of AKA, its scientific value, and comparisons with other forms of manual medicine and the McKenzie method are discussed in this paper. The conclusionis is that, AKA is a very effective method of treating low back pain.
