　抄録：変形性股関節症に対するセメントレスTHA術後3週までのCRP値解釈の判断基準を作ることを目的に，術後2週および3週時点でのCRP値の平均値および標準偏差を調査した．対象は変形性股関節症に対してセメントレスTHAを行い，感染のなかった110股，平均年齢は62歳（33～80歳）であった．THA術後CRP値（mg/dl）の平均値および標準偏差（SD）は1日目で6.13±2.65，3日目で12.81±4.64，7日目で2.73±2.15，14日目で0.58±0.80，21日目で0.21±0.24であり，術後3日目が最も高く，その後7日目までに急激に低下し，以降は徐々に低下した．平均＋2SDを正常の上限と考えると，術後14日では2.18mg/dl，術後21日では0.69mg/dlを超えるものを高値と考えるのが妥当と考える．

　Cementless total hip arthroplasty (THA) was performed in 110 osteoarthritic hips (mean age of the patients, 62 years；range 33-80 years), and the kinetics of the C-reactive protein (CRP) levels were studied to obtain a baseline for clinical use of CRP. Patients with complications of any kind were excluded. The mean and standard deviation (SD) of the CRP values (mg/dl) were 6.13±2.65 on postoperative day (POD) 1, 12.81±4.64 on POD 3, 2.73±2.15 on POD 7, 0.58±0.80 on POD 14, and 0.21±0.24 on POD 21. The CRP levels increased postoperatively, peaked on POD 3, then decreased rapidly until day 7, and gradually declined thereafter. We set the cut-off value for the upper limit of the CRP value at POD 14 and POD 21 at 2.18mg/dland 0.69mg/dl, respectively.
