Telodrin中毒による痙攣例について

A CONVULSIONS CASE OF TELODRIN-POISONING

I．はじめに

　Telodrinはシエル石油会社によつて開発され，殺虫効果の認められた薬物で（1956），その後各国での試験の結果，各種の作物の害虫に対する有効な殺虫剤であることが確認されている。最近某製薬会社において本剤を殺鼠剤として使用し得るか否かを試みるため，ビスケットに混入し試験中，研究員の一人が誤つて食したため，急性の中毒症状を呈した。われわれはその症例を診療する機会を得たので，この偶然の貴重な臨床例を報告する次第である。

Telodrin, octachlorotetrahydromethanophthalan is a kind of insecticide, similar drug to Endrin, Aldrin.

We reported a case of telodrinpoisoning. A young investigator ate some biscuits contained of this drugs by mistake (an estimated volume 120-160mg). After five hours he experienced vomiting, convulsions and (loss of consciousness.) He immediately admitted to hospital and treated with barbiturates, glucose and the others.

After thirteen or fourteen hours period of cloud-ness he discharged as fit but complained of slightly muscle dystonia, pulsion symptome, and EEG ex-aminations showed abnomal waves. He recovered completely after about two months. These symptomes were similar to that of cases of DDT, γ-BHC, endrinpoisoning.
