The effect of the changes in bronchial arterial flow on the pulmonary arterial flow, and vice versa, was studied in anes-thetized, thoracotomized dogs. Both pul-monary arterial flow and bronchial arterial flow were measured with two electromag-netic flowmeters simultaneously. The bron-chial arteries were separated from the systemic circulation and were perfused. The broneho-pulmonary anastomoses re-mained intact.
