Pulmonary Diffusing Capacity in Cardiopulmonary Diseases and Extracorporeal Circulation

I．Introduction

　In recent years, analysis of the patho-physiology of cardiopulmonary diseases　have been conducted from many angles　with advances in cardiopulmonary function　tests.　In cardiopulmonary physiology the　process of gas diffusion in the alveolus is　at present taken up as a task of inter-national importance and also is a subject　of research which arouses the greatestinterest.
