Guidelines state that small bowel CE(capsule endoscopy)is useful for assessing small bowel lesions in patients with CD(Crohn's disease). The administration of CE is limited to patients with gastrointestinal patency. However, since such patients were in remission status or had a good intestinal prognosis, the therapeutic effect at an appropriate timing is important. Although the therapeutic goal of CD is mucosal healing, it is important to recognize cases where it is difficult to completely heal the mucosa and know the mucosal conditions that can avoid clinical relapse in the future. The severity of CE can be evaluated by Lewis score in the interpretation software, and it has been reported that if it is 264 or less, it is more likely to prevent a subsequent recurrence.
