要旨 好酸球性消化管疾患(EGID)は,乳児における新生児-乳児消化管アレルギー,1歳以上~成人における好酸球性胃腸炎,好酸球性食道炎などの総称である.いずれも病態に好酸球性炎症が少なからず関与しており,食物により誘発される患者が多いことが判明しつつある.また,本邦では新生児-乳児消化管アレルギーが急激に増加しつつあり,欧米の類縁疾患とphenotypeに大きな差があること,好酸球性食道炎の頻度が低く,好酸球性胃腸炎が多いことなどの特徴がある.本邦でのEGID,特に小児と成人の違いについて論述する.
EGID(eosinophilic gastro-intestinal disorders)is a general term of non-IgE mediated gastrointestinal allergy in infants, eosinophilic gastroenteritis and eosinophilic esophagitis. Eosinophilic inflammation is thought to play an important role in those syndromes. In the majority of the patients, it has come to be thought that GI inflammation is induced by food. In addition, non-IgE mediated gastrointestinal allergy in infants is increasing dramatically in our country. The frequency of eosinophilic gastroenteritis is much higher than that of eosinophilic esophagitis. Here, I discussed EGID especially focusing on the difference between children and adults.
