Endoscopic Treatment for Submucosal Tumors of the Colon and Rectum

要旨　大腸粘膜下腫瘍は上皮性腫瘍（腺腫，癌）と比較するとまれな疾患である．しかし粘膜下腫瘍様形態を呈する疾患は様々であり，鑑別診断は容易ではない．大腸粘膜下腫瘍に対する内視鏡治療の適応は限られており，また出血や穿孔といった偶発症を引き起こす可能性もあるため，大腸内視鏡検査や超音波内視鏡検査などにより術前に正確な診断をすることが非常に重要である．本稿では，大腸粘膜下腫瘍の診断，内視鏡治療方法および内視鏡治療の適応について概説する．

　Submucosal tumors (SMTs) of the colon and rectum are relatively rare compared to adenomas and carcinomas. The diagnosis of colonic SMTs is difficult because various diseases can be detected as SMTs. Endoscopic treatment for colonic SMTs is limited because of its complications such as bleeding and perforation. Precise diagnosis before treatment is most important to prevent these complications. In the present study, we review the diagnosis and endoscopic treatment of submucosal tumors of the colon and rectum.
