The treatment methods for vascular disease, such as hemangioma, gastric antral vascular ectasia, and angiodysplasia, which cause bleeding and anemia occurring in the upper gastrointestinal tract, were described. Although surgical resection is a standard method for treatment for hemangioma, it is possible to treat it by endoscopic treatment according to the size and macroscopic shape of the tumor. The initial treatment of choice for gastric antral vascular ectasia and angiodysplasia is endoscopic therapy, such as heater probe or argon plasma coagulation. Because of the possibility of causing massive hemorrhage during the treatment for these lesions, much care is needed.
