　I．はじめに

　石灰化上皮腫（calcifying epithelioma，pilomatrixoma）は皮膚に生ずる稀な良性腫瘍で，通常真皮下部から皮下脂肪組織中に存在する腫瘤として認められる。組織学的所見は特徴的であるので診断は容易であるが，臨床的にあらかじめそれと診断することは困難であり，発生部位によつて臨床診断はまちまちでありうる。

　われわれはそれぞれ耳後部皮下，耳下腺浅葉内に生じた各1例を経験したので報告し，その臨床像と組織学的所見などについて紹介する。

　Two cases of calcifying epithelioma that, inone case, developed in the parotid gland and, in the other, in the post-auricular region, are reported.

　The fist case: A girl, aged 14, was found to be affected with a swelling, the size of a walnut, of the subauricular region. The growth was surgically removed along with a part of the involved parotid gland.

　The second case: An infant 8 months old was found to be affected with a small swelling in the post-auricular region. This swelling gradually enlarged and at the time of the initial examination it measured 1 cm in diameter.

　The diagnosis in both cases were confirmed by pathological examinations.
