I．はじめに

　良性腫瘍である髄膜腫は，徐々に発育し，次第に腫瘤としての症状を呈して発症することが一般的である．しかし，血管に富む髄膜腫からの出血も稀に起こりうる^21）．われわれは，急性硬膜下血腫で発症した髄膜腫の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加え報告する．

We present a case of meningioma associated with acute subdural hematoma.

This 67-year-old male had a sudden onset of severe headache when he was on the train. He had a CTscan which revealed an acute subdural hematoma at the left parietal convex. Cerebral angiography dis-closed a small focus (3×4cm) of vascular stain under the left parietal bone supplied by the left middlemeningeal artery.

He was diagnosed as having a meningioma with surrounding acute subdural hematoma. The removal ofthis tumor was carried out without delay. It was fragile and the bleeding point was not detected. Patholo-gical diagnosis was meningothelial meMngioma.

The literature showed meningioma associated with acute subdural hematoma is rare, but when it is dis-covered incidentally, surgical resection might be indicated.
