Ⅰ．はじめに

　高次脳機能障害，特に前頭葉機能障害には近年神経系の各分野から関心が集まり，知見が蓄積されつつある．脳神経外科領域では，頭部外傷例やてんかん症例，前交通動脈瘤手術例で高次脳機能障害の検討がされている^2,10)．しかし，良性の脳腫瘍について機能障害や，摘出術前後の機能変化を検討した報告は国内外ともに少ない^8,11)．今回，われわれは髄膜腫の摘出術施行例3症例に対し，術前後の前頭葉機能障害について評価を行ったので，考察を加えて報告する．

We report three cases of frontal meningioma with their pre- and post-operative evaluations of higher brain functions,especially of frontal lobe functions. All of the cases showed the improvement of the frontal lobe functions after the tumor removal.

　The evaluations of frontal lobe functions in benign brain tumors such as a meningioma are reported only in a few cases. The evaluations of frontal lobe functions in the operative cases of benign brain tumors provide many interesting and valuable informations about frontal lobe functions. So we must be more interest in evaluations in higher brain functions and accumulate cases for the further analysis of higher brain functions.
