基底細胞上皮腫の発生部位には特異な傾向があり，顔面，頭部に70％以上のものが生じ，顔面においても上口唇より上方に集中して発生するという明瞭な傾向が認められている。この反面，手掌，足蹠，粘膜，外陰および肛門周囲にはきわめてまれにしか発生していない。これらの事実は基底細胞上皮腫の発生原因，または誘因，あるいはその発生母地に対する諸説の根拠として，いろいろな見地から検討されている。われわれは，臨床的には表在型であり，組織学的には大部分が充実型に分類される，肛門周辺に生じた基底細胞上皮腫を経験したので報告する。
A 86-year-old man with this disease was reported. It occupied the part of 4 o'clock around the anus, and it was a 2×3cm in size, elliptic, flatly elevated, soft, redish-brown tumor, at the peripheral part of which were studded a few, from 2 to 3 mm in diameter, black, hard, small nodules. Clinical diagnosis was the superficial basal cell epithelioma.
Histologic specimen showed the solid type accompanied by the adenoid structure, bud forma-tion, and proliferation of melanocytes in some part.
This disease must be differentiated from Bowen's disease clinically and histologically.
Two cases of this disease around the anus have been reported in Japan.
