変形性関節症の治療

Homeostasis and Disorder of Musculoskeletal System.Research of Osteoarthritis Therapeutics.

　外科的に関節不安定性を惹起する変形性関節症マウスモデルが開発されて以来，これまで多くの分子，シグナルの関与が明らかとなってきた。またそれらの責任分子やシグナルに対する干渉によって，変形性関節症の病態を制御できる可能性も示唆されている。本稿では変形性関節症の分子メカニズムと治療法開発についての研究について紹介する。

　Since the establishment of murine surgical knee osteoarthritis（OA）models, many of the key molecules and signalling pathways responsible for OA development have been identified. In vivo experiments using murine models indicate that inhibition or activation of these molecules and pathways may be useful for modifying OA pathophysiology. Here we review previous research about molecular mechanisms and therapeutics for OA.
