We report the case of a 70-year-old male who had both severe aortic stenosis(AS)and severe bronchus stenosis due to the expansion of a pulmonary carcinoid tumor. Before the patient’s tumor resection surgery, he underwent transcatheter aortic valve implantation(TAVI), and the pulmonary tumor’s resection was performed safely 2 weeks later. TAVI is an useful option as an intervention for severe AS preceding non-cardiac surgeries, especially when a short interval between the treatment of AS and the surgery is desired.
