The Surgical Treatment of Extra-Mammary Pagetʼs Disease

はじめに

　「明瞭な病巣境界を確実に把握すれば，その境界を越えてPaget細胞が存在することはない」ことを述べる。これは，言葉遊びではなく，ごく現実的な問題である。

　Knowledge of the pathophysiology of the disease is essential for the surgical treatment of extra-mammary Pagetʼs disease. Only when the surgeon first considers the pathogenesis and clinicopathological correlations, can action be taken. This report explains both the pathophysiology and the surgical treatment of extra-mammary Pagetʼs disease based on authorʼs experience.
