まれな胸腺脂肪線維腺腫の1例

A rare case report of thymic lipofibroadenoma

胸腺脂肪線維腺腫（thymic lipofibroadenoma）は，2021年改訂のWHO分類第5版において胸腺腫群に分類されるまれな良性腫瘍である。本腫瘍は乳腺線維腺腫に類似した組織像を呈し，膠原線維の密な増生と胸腺上皮細胞および脂肪組織の混在を特徴とする。その発生頻度は極めて低く，世界的にも報告は十数例にとどまり，その病態は十分に解明されていない。今回我々は，健診にて偶発的に発見された胸腺脂肪線維腺腫の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Thymic lipofibroadenoma is an extremely rare thymic tumor characterized by a distinctive admixture of fatty and fibrous components. Although definitive diagnosis based on preoperative imaging is difficult and requires surgical resection with histopathological evaluation, this entity should be considered in the differential diagnosis when a fat-containing mass is identified in the anterior mediastinum（or prevascular compartment in the mediastinum）on radiological imaging.
