要旨：Stroke Unitは，脳卒中診療の専門的知識をもった多職種で構成されたチームにおいて，患者の包括的評価を行い，協調的に治療を行う専門の病棟である．

　当院でも46床のStroke Unitがあり，発症から3日以内に66％の作業療法が開始されている．ストロークカンファレンスやストローク回診，ベッドサイドからの日常生活活動訓練・摂食嚥下訓練などのチームアプローチのなかで，積極的に作業療法士が関わっている．作業療法は，当院で作成したリハビリテーションガイドラインに沿って進められている．当院のStroke Unitにおける作業療法士の実践報告をする．

　A stroke unit (SU) in an exclusive hospital ward, where various specialists of stroke therapy work as a team, provides holistic assessment and coordinated treatment to stroke patients. In our hospital, there is an SU with 46 beds, where 66% of occupational therapy begins within three days of stroke onset. Occupational therapists are actively involved in team approaches, such as stroke conferences, rounds of stroke patients, bedside rehabilitation for the improvement of abilities to perform daily activities, and dysphagia rehabilitation. Occupational therapy is promoted in accordance with rehabilitation guidelines developed at Takeda General Hospital. We here present a practical report on occupational therapists in the SU in this hospital.
