要旨:長期入院患者に対して,社会復帰プログラムの特徴を取り入れた,オープングループの教育セッションを試みた.そしてその役割は,①社会復帰へ向けて必要な技術を学ぶ前段階として,入院生活での対人トラブルを回避したり,病気についての理解や障害とうまく付き合う方法を見つけていくきっかけとなる,②オープングループという場の構造は,患者ニーズの把握と相互理解の場として機能している,③他職種との連携により,患者のトータルな問題評価とそれに基づいた効果的なリハビリテーションを展開できる可能性を含んでいる,という3点にあるように思われた.
We endeavored to carry out an educational program characterized by a social rehabilitation program for chronic inpatients. The program consisted of one period of treatment with a half-year duration, and we have already carried out three periods of treatment. Consequently, we have included the following three suggestions :
1) With regard to patients taking "the first positive step" within their existing environment (place), we studied social skills for social rehabilitation to find better ways for patients to deal their own illnesses, which, in turn, would allow them to better deal with their environment.
2) We held to the open-group system, which allowed us to control what the patients needed and, in turn, allowed patients to more successfully understand each other within the rehabilitation environment.
3) Maintaining cooperation with other programs and sections may hasten effective rehabilitation resulting in a more comprehensive assessment for patients.
