リサイクルパウチ—内視鏡下手術における点滴セット包装袋を再利用した標本回収袋

“Recycle Pouch”:A Pouch for Retrieving Specimens in Endoscopic Operations Reusing a Pack for an Intravenous Line

　内視鏡下手術における標本回収時にわれわれが用いている廃物利用の袋（リサイクルパウチと呼称）を紹介する．方法：内容を取り出したあとの点滴セット包装袋を滅菌し，術中この封筒口を折り返し，前後面の長軸中心線を山折りに折り直し，体腔内に挿入して標本を回収する．成績：4例の胸腔鏡下肺悪性腫瘍切除と25例の腹腔鏡下胆嚢摘出に用いた．袋は体内で弾性により広がり，回収時に破損したことはない．1年間，ポート部の癌再発や創感染は皆無である．結論：本法は安価で簡便ながらポート部における癌再発や感染がなく，推奨される．

Purpose : We introduce the “recycle pouch” for retrieving specimens during endoscopic operations. Methods : The package containing an intravenous line is sterilized. Intraoperatively the opening of the pouch is extroverted, the pouch itself is refolded into an envelope rotating 1/4 times along its long axis, and sent into the body cavity to retrieve specimens within. Results : Using this pouch, four patients underwent resection of lung cancer and 25 cholecystectomy. The pouch readily expands within the body, and is so sturdy that none was broken.
