Risk management in the ultrasound laboratory

当検査室における実例を紹介しながら，超音波検査や検査技師の特性に着目したリスクマネジメントについて解説した．リスクを軽減させるためには，こうした特性を考慮しつつ適切な検査室環境を構築し，インシデント・アクシデントレポートシステムや適切なトレーニングを通じて，リスクマネジメントについての認識と経験を醸成することにより，リスク回避を図ることが重要である．同時に，実際に生じたリスクに対しては，リスクマネジャーの適切な介入で損失発生を予防あるいは軽減することが必要かつ有効である．

We explained risk management in an ultrasound laboratory in consideration of characteristics of ultrasound examination and sonographers.　A well-suited laboratory environment for risk management and inspiring motivation for risk control in sonographers through training and experience are essential for risk avoidance.　On the other hand, a quick and adequate intervention by the risk manager will produce good results in preventing or reducing damage, if anyone should encounter trouble in the laboratory.
