海外渡航者の健康管理において，ワクチンは不可欠なものであるが，海外渡航者に接種することが推奨されるワクチンの中には現在本邦で承認されていないものがあり，欧米の諸外国と比べ，海外渡航者に対して十分なワクチン接種が行えない場合がある．さらに，欧米の諸外国と比べるとトラベルクリニックの数が少ないことや渡航医学という概念自体が社会に十分浸透していないという問題があり，今後改善していくべき問題は多く残されている．

Although vaccination is necessary for travelers, recommended vaccines for travelers are not sufficient in Japan compared to Europian countries.　In addition, the number of travel clinics in Japan is less than that in Europian countries, and most Japanese are not familiar with travel medicine.　Such problems in Japan should be improved in the future.
