乳児にみられためずらしい舌滑平筋腫症例

　Ⅰ．緒言

　最近，舌根部に先天性滑平筋腫を認めた乳児の症例を経験したので報告する。舌の良性腫瘍には線維腫，脂肪腫，血管腫，リンパ管腫，乳嘴腫，腺腫などがあり必らずしも珍らしいものではないが舌滑平筋腫の症例報告は少なく，我々の探索した最近7〜8年の文献には昭和32年伊藤，高垣が北海道外科地方会で演説した42歳，男子の症例があるのみであり，両氏はこの症例が本邦における最初の唯一の報告例であるといつている。また，Thomaは1938年から1944年までの報告として4例を記載しているのみであり，非常に稀な症例と思われる。

A growth in the region of the root of the tongue the size of ordinary bean was found to be an osteomyoma by microscopic exami-nation after its removal. The patient was an infant boy, aged 2 months. This type of tu-mor in such a situation is rare indeed; only one other report was found in the literature.
