上顎より発生した所謂骨巨細胞腫（Giant cell reparative granuloma）症例

　緒言

　骨の巨細胞腫は通常長管骨，殊に大腿骨，上腕骨等の骨端部に好発するものであつて，真の腫瘍性のものであるに対し，当科領域即ち上下顎骨等に於ける所謂骨巨細胞腫の大部分は類似の組織像を呈するが本質的には異なり，一種の肉芽腫性のものであることが近来明らかになつて来た。その発生は欧米に於ては比較的数多くみられるが，本邦に於ては稀であつて僅か数例の報告をみるに過ぎない。今般我々は上顎より発生した所謂骨巨細胞腫で病理組織学的検索の結果giant cell reparative granulomaであることが判明した1例を経験したので，ここに報告する。

A woman, aged 25. complained of swelling of left cheek with obstruction of nasal breathing. The offending mass was a tumor arising from the maxillary bone that proved to be a giant cell reparative granuloma by microscopic examination. The patient made an uneventful recovery after the operation.
