抗てんかん剤ゾニサミド内服中に発生した尿路結石症

A Case of Urolithiasis Possibly Induced by Zonisamide Administration in a Patient with Epilepsy

　てんかんに対してゾニサミド（エクセグラン®）内服中の24歳男性に，本剤投与が原因と思われる尿路結石を認めた。結石は自然排石された。本邦では稀な副作用で報告例は少ないが，尿路結石を扱う泌尿器科医として念頭に置くべきものと考えられた。

We reported a case of urolithiasis possibly induced byzonisamide. A 24-year-old man visited our hospital withsudden onset of right abdominal pain. Radiological examina-tion (KUB) showed two right ureteral stones in the sizeof 9mm and 7mm. Subsequently, the two stones werespontaneously discharged.He hasreceived zonisamide forepilepsy since he has 13years old. While there has been only a few reports in literature in Japan, Zonisamide induced urolithiasis is not negligible in clinical practice.
