術前の腹部超音波検査で診断可能であつた64歳女性の感染性尿膜管嚢胞の1例を報告した。尿膜管嚢胞は比較的稀な疾患であるが，その術前診断には腹部超音波検査が有用である。
A 63-year-old woman was seen with the chief complaint of dull pain in the lower abdomen. An ultrasonography showed a cystic mass compatible with urachal cyst. An excision of the mass was per-formed. The resected part of the mass revealed a cystic cavity filled with pus and surrounded by the thick fibrous tissue. The culture of the pus yielded E. coli. We believe that ultrasonography is most useful for preoperative diagnosis of urachal cyst.
