　2007年12月から2009年7月まで当院を受診し新規に診断された慢性前立腺炎/慢性骨盤痛症候群（CP/CPPS）49名（ⅢA9名，ⅢB40名）に，ノイロトロピン16単位を2分割にて連日内服投与した。ノイロトロピン投与2週間後，6週間後でNIH-国際前立腺炎症状インデックス（NIH-CPSI）を用い効果を検討した。その結果，痛み・不快感，排尿症状，生活の質（QOL）の各項目において有意な改善が認められた。また3項目の総点も有意に改善され，治療への有用性が示された。なお全例で副作用を認めなかった。本報告は同剤の慢性前立腺炎への初の有効性報告である。

Sixteen units of Neurotropin divided in 2 doses were orally administered daily to 49 patients with chronic prostatitis（CP）/chronic pelvic pain syndrome（CPPS）（ⅢA：9 patients,ⅢB：40 patients）who were newly diagnosed at our hospital from December 2007 to July 2009. Outcomes were assessed at 2 weeks and 6 weeks after treatment using NIH-Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index（NIH-CPSI）. Neurotropin showed significant improvement in the pain,urinary symptoms and quality of life（QOL）impact domains. Moreover,the total score of the above three domains was also significantly improved. Besides,no adverse effects were observed among the patients treated with Neurotropin,indicating the usefulness of this treatment. This is the first report showing the efficacy of Neurotropin in treating chronic prostatitis.
