頭頸部腫瘍に対する半導体レーザーの使用経験

Applications of the Diode Laser to the Head and Neck Tumor

I．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科頭頸部外科領域におけるレーザーはCO₂レーザー，YAGレーザー，KTPレーザーなどが主に用いられている。CO₂レーザーは切開や蒸散に，YAGレーザーは凝固や止血に有用であり，KTPレーザーは血管腫に対する照射に適している。半導体レーザーは，機能的には従来のNd：YAGレーザーとほぼ同じで，主たる用途は一般外科および内視鏡治療における凝固，止血および小切開である^1）。

　今回，半導体レーザー（オリンパス社製，UDL-15）を乳頭腫や血管腫症例に対して使用し，その有用性と安全性を確認したので報告する。

　We applied the diode laser to three cases with head and neck tumors in a 62-year-old woman with laryngeal papilloma,a 57-year-old woman with lingual hemangioma and a 36-year-old man with nasal hemangioma. In all cases the tumors were resected safely with a small amount of hemorrhage. The diode laser is considered to be useful in resection of the head and neck tumor.
