葡萄膜転移癌の2例

Two cases of metastatic carcinoma in the uvea

　葡萄膜転移癌の2例を報告した．第1例は46歳女性で乳癌手術後2年後に発症し，右眼毛様体，左眼虹彩に転移性腫瘍が認められた．第2例は62歳男性で、眼科受診時両眼の多発性脈絡膜腫瘍を発見され，その後内科にて原発巣は肺癌と診断された．経過中血漿中のcarcinoembryonicantigenは第1例では高値を示したが、第2例では正常であった．治療として2例とも放射線療法を行ったが，第1例には無効，第2例では有効で腫瘍の増大抑制が認められた．第2例については剖検にて摘出した眼球の光学顕微鏡および電子顕微鏡による病理組織学的検索を行い，その結果もあわせて報告した．

We observed two instances of uveal tumor which proved to be metastatic carcinomas. The first case, a 46-year-old female, underwent surgical removal of the right breast on account of breast carcinoma 2 years before. Metastasis was detected in the ciliary body in the right eye and the iris in the left. In the second case, a 62-year-old male, multiplechoroidal tumor in both eyes led to the detection of lung cancer as the primary lesion. The serum carcinoembryonic antigen level was elevated in the first case and was within normal range in the second. Cobalt radiotherapy was effective in su-pressing the tumor in the second case only. Death followed 2 months and 1 month, respectively, after the initial visit.
