涙丘より発生したSebaceous Adenomaの1例

A case or sebaceous adenoma of the caruncle

緒　言

　涙丘の腫瘍に遭遇することは稀である。内外の文献をみても報告は比較的すくなく，特に涙丘のSebaceous adenomaの報告はすくない。著者らの調べた限りでは，わが国ではまだ報告されていないようである。今回著者らは涙丘より発生したsebaceous adenomaの1例を経験し組織学的に検討することができたので報告する。

A 69-year-old male was seen with a chronic swelling protruding from the right eye. The swelling had started about 10 years before and kept slowly growing. The swelling was white in color and was present on the medial canthus of the right eye apparently originating from the caruncle. Its consistency was firm. The swelling was surgically removed and the histological stu-dies showed the lesion to be sebaceous adenoma.
