緒論

　新産児の領域では未解決の問題が多く，就中，前熟児対策は重要な問題にも不拘，十年一日の感が深かつた。近来，この方面に注目の眼が向けられて来た事は欣しいが，新産児の呼吸に関しては殆んど研究がない。著者はこの問題に就いて，重視すべき新知見を得たので報告する。
