馬尾神経皮様嚢腫の1治験例

A Case of Cauda-dermoid Cyst

緒言

　Sicard及Forestier （1922）が脊椎管狭窄の高位診断にLipiodolをMyelographieに用いて以来，脊髄外科は長足の進歩を遂げ，斯界の泰斗Elsbergにより多数の脊髄腫瘍摘出例が発表され（1925）之に続いて枚挙にいとまない報告がなされた。

　諸家の報告をみるに馬尾神経腫瘍は比較的に発生頻度少くElsbergは脊髄腫瘍81例中12例（14％）を報告している。馬尾神経腫瘍を最も多数報告したJ．W．Toumeyは48例を検討した。本論文に関係ある腫瘍としては，前者にDermoid 1例，後者にFibrous cyst 1例を見るが，後者のみ馬尾部に生じたものである。又神中整形外科手術書に我我の例と殆ど一致した1例の馬尾神経皮様嚢腫を図示してある。激烈な腰部，下肢痛を呈する本症例は，稀れな腫瘍ではあるが，臨床医家の一応念頭に置くべき一症例と考え，茲に報告する次第である。

We experienced one case whose chief com-plaints were insidious onset of severe lowback pain, pain of lower extremities, stiffness of the low back, disability of walking and hinderance of sleeps.

Duration prior to operation was 9 months.

In myelography a complete subarachinoid block was found at the 4th lumber spine.

Operative finding was a huge dermoid cyst of caude, its appearance was resembling to the flower-olive, and a dramatic result was obtained by the tumor-exstirpation. Dermoid cyst of the spinal cord is rarely found in bibliography.
