Thirteen cases of lymphoma of the intestine were studied (colonic lymphoma 7, small intestinal lymphoma 4, multiorgan lymphoma 2 cases).

They could be classified morphologically as follows ; tumorous (4 cases, 4 lesions), ulcerated (4 cases, 8 lesions), localized infiltrative (2 cases, 2 lesions), diffuse type (4 cases). Endoscopically, they had the following characteristics. Tumorous lymphomas had submucosal more or less tumor-like features. Ulcerated lymphomas also had, if anything, the characteristic feature of submucosal tumor at the ulcer margin. Diffuse lymphomas were characterized by a smooth-surfaced gyri-like appearance, with thick whitish mucosa with multiple veriform erosion-like tiny elevations.
