脊椎疾患の病態と臨床検査

脊椎疾患に対する診断ツールとしては，近年のMRIやCTなどの放射線学的画像診断法の進歩に伴って画像診断が果たす役割が大きくなってきているが，血液検査や尿検査などの臨床検査が診断に有用であるケースも少なくない．臨床検査が診断に有用である脊椎疾患としては，腫瘍性疾患や感染性疾患などが代表的である．本稿では，これらを中心として日常臨床で重要性が高いと考えられる脊椎疾患および関連疾患をとりあげ概説する．

Recent technical progress in radiological diagnostic tools, such as CT and MRI, is making them more valuable for the diagnoses of spinal disorders.　Meanwhile, laboratory examinations such as blood tests and urine tests are still substantially important especially for the diagnoses of some of spinal disorders including spinal tumor and infectious diseases.　Here we have described several important points for precise, efficient and early diagnoses of such spinal disorders.
