緒言

　重複腎盂尿管は尿路奇形のうちではしばしば見られるもののひとつである。欧米では，その頻度や病態生理に関する報告がいくつも出ているが，本邦では，他の尿路奇形を合併した症例報告がほとんどで，まとまつた報告はまだないようである。そこで，われわれは，当病院である一定期間に撮影されたIVPについて重複腎盂尿管の頻度と形態を調べ，そのうちからいくつかの症例を選んでX-ray cinematographyにより尿管蠕動の観察をも行ない，臨床所見との関連について考えてみた。

The incidence and type of reduplicated pelvis and ureter were investigated among the IVP done on 1702 adult cases during the last 30 months at the Saiseikai Central Hospital in Tokyo and X-ray cinematography was done in part of the cases to observe ureteral peristalsis.

There were 55 cases which is 3. 2% of the cases who underwent IVP. 48 cases were unilateral and 7 cases were bilateral. 19 cases were male and 36 were female the ratio being 1:1. 9.
